Kohima, September 21 (MExN): A Performance Review Meeting for Project Directors of the Department of Rural Development was held at RD conference hall here on September 20.
All the district Project Directors gave PowerPoint presentations highlighting MGNREGA physical performance, status of works completed and ongoing, achievements, status of GEO tagging and job card verification.
Secretary RD, Kelei Zeliang in his opening remarks called upon all PDs to give a detailed position of their performances so that all information can be consolidated and further forwarded to the ministry. He also stressed on the importance of holding bank accounts and instructed the officers to urge the villagers to open bank accounts in accordance with ministry guidelines.
Other issues such as status of Aadhaar seeding, camp calendars, account registration and status of Social Audit were also discussed.
Further, the meeting deliberated on the itinerary for Mission Antyoda Gram Samridhi Evam Swachchata Pakhwada, which is scheduled to be conducted from October 1 till 15 at the state, district and block level. Plan of action for baseline survey during the period was also highlighted.
Chaired by director RD, Metsubo Jamir, the meeting was attended by all PDs, POs, APCs and DBMs of all DRDAs.
