
Kohima, September 26 (MExN): A four-day re-orientation training programme for Hindi teachers of Government High School and Government Higher Secondary School teachers started on September 25. The programme is organized by the Directorate of School Education (Hindi section) and sponsored by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) at DSE training hall.
On the opening day HOD, Director of School Education Wonthungo Tsopoe addressing the Hindi teachers stated that it was high time for the teachers to rededicate themselves to their profession, stated a press release by BP Philip, HEO, DSE Kohima.
He urged the teachers to regenerate enthusiasm in teaching Hindi language which is getting popular each day at the international level.
Additional Director Pollem Tep while exhorting the trainees pointed out that professional ethics is most important in any profession and especially in education. He challenged the teaching community to build confidence amongst the pupil.
Aye Hyume, Deputy Director, RMSA highlighted RMSA activities and urged the teachers to think out of the box and make the best use of their profession.
The resource persons of the training BP Philip, Hindi Education Office, Atsula Yim (PGHT) and GK Sinha (Sr. GT) facilitated the teachers on various topics. The programme was chaired by Zakienei Khoubve, Asst Director (H).
