Laymen’s EFI meeting from today

Dimapur, February 12 (MExN):
The Laymen’s Evangelical Fellowship International will hold Special Evening Meetings at State Academy Hall, Kohima from February 13-15 with Global Evangelist, Dr. Joshua Daniel as the Speaker. In this regard, it has invited everyone to come and be part of it. The Fellowship also telecasts God's word in Naga Cable and Central Cable, Multi Channel and Crystal Cable every Sunday from 8:00-8:30 am and 6:00-6:30 pm respectively in English and Nagamese.

Mon DPDB meeting on Feb 15

Kohima, February 12 (MExN):
The proposed Mon DPDB meeting cum picnic will be held on February 15 at the fishery pond of the president, Konyak union, chen Road (Yuching) at 12.00 noon. Assistant development commissioner and member secretary, DPDB Mon, Zhothose in a press release has requested its members to arranger their own transportation or accommodate with their friends. Departure from Mon town will be at 9:00 am, also informed all its members to attend the programme without fail.

Addl director edu directorate informs

Dimapur, February 12 (MExN):
The additional director of Directorate of School Education, N Khevito Sema has informed in a press note that the free textbooks distribution from Class A to Class 8 was completed on February 11. In relation to that, the DEOs/DISs are requested to submit the details of receipt to the additional director on or before February 20. The department has distributed the books according to the enrolment submitted by the DEOs/DISs during 2010. However, if there is a shortfall, the DEOs/DISs may intimidate to the director immediately.

NASU union assembly on March 5

Kohima, February 12 (MExN):
The Northern Angami students’ Union (NASU) 2nd union assembly will be held on March 5 at its union office (NAPO building, Kezieke). Tenyimi church Mon Town visit hospital

Kohima, February 12 (MExN):
Tenyimi church, Mon Town on the occasion of 62nd Republic day, under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Mon, has visited the patients at civil hospital Mon, including leprosy cell. The member in two groups penetrated to all the different wards and has short fellowships with the patients in their respective wards. The team was led by pastor Those Angami and the team also distributed food stuffs to each patients.

Measles catch up at Pfutsero town

Pfutsero, February 12 (DIPR):
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is conducting Measles Catch Up at Pfutsero Town from February 7 to 26. Dr. Chütalü SDMO Pfutsero has requested all citizens and Schools to cooperate with the department and avail the services to be provided, and further stated that measles has been a menace disease in our locality and thus urged the public to be responsible to avail the service. Nurses/vaccinators will be giving one dose of measles vaccines to all children from 9 months to 10 years of age free of cost.
