Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): In view of the upcoming community monitors for Dimapur district census 2011 phase II to be held on February 12 at town hall, Dimapur, the district administration has directed the Chairmen and GB’s of Dimapur district to attend the meeting. The meeting will focus on ensuring smooth, honest and factual census operations in the district. Further the district administration has also requested the local media houses to cover the said programme which begins at 11: 00 am on Saturday.
ANGDA general body meet
Kohima, February 10 (MExN): The All Nagaland Government Driver’s Association (ANGDA) will hold its 31st general body meeting on February 26 at the office of the CANSSEA Conference Hall at 10:00 AM. In this connection, all the head of department Kohima Units, ANGDA sub divisions units and district units, Nagaland Secretariat Drivers Union, Nagaland Directorate & District Govt. Drivers Union, ANGDA NST units have been informed to attend the meeting without fail. The Association also informed all ANGDA members to submit their yearly membership fee for the year 2011 at Rs. 50 per head for a year. The Association requested the unit to submit the total strength of all its bonafide members with name list, contact number and designation.
TSU wishes students
Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): The Thsotokur Students’ Union (TSU) has wishes the very best of luck to students appearing for HSLC, HSSLC and other degree examinations. TSU in a press release encouraged the students especially its members to study hard for achieving success and also informed that award will be given to those candidates securing distinction marks, first division and merit in any streams. He TSU has also wished the new team of Yimchungrü Akherü Arih-Ako (YAA) for the tenure 2011-2014 under the Presidentship of Z. Throngshe Yim.
Vet Treatment Camp at Zubza
Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): The officers and staff of the Veterinary Hospital Kohima attended the Veterinary Treatment Camp at Zubza on February 5, 2011. This camp was organized by the ‘B’ Coy, 20 Assam Rifles. Management, Veterinary Hospital, Kohima in a press note stated that the team of expertise from Veterinary Hospital Kohima was led by Dr. Vivotuo Miachieo, Veterinary Surgeon (VHK). The other officers included Dr. Tali Lepzuk, VAS, Dr. Tolto Metha, VAS, Dr. Keduzol Ltu, VAS and Dr. Ilhovi Swu, VAS. The team also included the Veterinary Field Assistants and staffs Tachowlow, Maongtemjen, Vilalie, Tsuktiemba, Kepeo and Thinuozetuo. Besides attending clinical cases at the venue, several animals were also vaccinated during the camp by the officers and staffs.
