DIMAPUR, SEPT 16 (MExN): The Rengma Hoho today took strong exception to the usage of the word ‘communal’ in a rejoinder issued by the Huker Village Council, relating to Joseph Seb’s murder case. “The Rengma Hoho reminds the Huker Village Council that the Hoho neither indicted any village council nor any tribe in the case,” Rengma Hoho General Secretary Zukeya Woch stated while questioning the inhumanly torture and custodial death of Lt Joseph without fair trial. Maintaining that at no point of time it defended or justified the crime Joseph might have committed, the Hoho said it had registered its resentment against the law enforcing agency (Village Guard) for taking the law into their own hands and violating human rights. The Hoho also reminded the government of its earlier demand set.
