Reserve 50% bed capacity for COVID-19 patients: Nagaland govt to private hospitals

Kohima, May 5 (MExN): With the incidence of COVID-19 cases witnessing a steep rise over the last few weeks, and with more patients requiring hospitalization, the Nagaland government has directed all private hospitals in the State to provide for treatment of COVID-19 patients as per the Standard Operating Procedure. Private hospitals have also been directed to reserve at least 50 % of the bed capacity of the normal wards and the ICU available for treatment of COVID-19 patients. District Task Forces are to ensure compliance of this order.
