
Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): The GBs and DBs joint forum of Kiphire District has adopted a resolution calling for an end to inter-factional killings among the Naga National Workers. A meeting held which came out with a six point resolution resolved unanimously “to accept the peace and presume unity move among all the different groups of the Naga National Workers without any discrimination in the line of tribes or place”.
The meeting initiated by the Joint Forum Working Committee of National GBs’ and DBs’ for peace and unification was appreciated by all Naga National Groups and they agreed to strictly abide and adhere the resolution adopted by the J.F.W.C. The J.F.W.C requested all the N.N.W (Naga National Workers) to extend inter factional cease fire for a period of 6 (Six) months. Accordingly the response was positive from all the factions and therefore all the Naga National Workers at Kiphire District should follow suit, stated a press note received here.
It was also resolved that in the course of inter-factional cease fire if any faction makes an effort to attempt or kill the other faction the general public of the District shall, in no way co-operate with that faction in any manner and that faction shall be treated an Anti-Naga National Workers. The J.F.W.C of Kiphire District unanimously decided not to let any faction to stay or roam within the premises of Kiphire Town until unification is achieved between the warring factions as desired by the Nagas.
