KOHIMA, MARCH 4 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) today suggested restricting issuance of permits to foreign tourists from the affected countries till the COVID-19 outbreak is contained. It further called for modalities to screen railway, ISBT and taxi passengers by detailing medical personnel in all transit check points before entering the state. A press release from the AYO stated that mandatory medical screening of air passengers should be done in the airport. It also suggested for widespread sensitization and outreach by the government and urged all concerned departments to be equipped with required infrastructure or medicines to combat the outbreak.
