Revenant FC lifted the 1st U-20 Revenant Football Running Trophy by defeating Youngsters FC by 3 – 1 goals on Thursday at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. The tournament was organized by Moanungsang Sporting Club under aegis of Revenant FC.
The Chief Patron at the closing ceremony was N Chuba Phom, Assistant Planning Officer. The Champions Revenant FC and the runner-up were both awarded with cash and certificates.
The closing programme was chaired by Lawrence Imchen and the vote of thanks was given by President, Moanungsang Memorial Sporting Club, B Aoluin Aier. The prize distribution was conducted by organizing committee convenor, Zulumanen Jamir.
Individual prize winners:
• Player of the tournament: Nungshijujang of Revenant FC
• Best Defender: Imlisunep of Youngsters FC
• Best Goal Keeper: Imsutoshi of Revenant FC
• Discipline team: Ao Temulong FC.
