Mokokchung, December 16 (MExN): Parliamentary Secretary EE Pangteang, Commissioner & Secretary CM Tsanglao and Additional Director, Sericulture Department visited Mokokchung district on December 13 to assist the ongoing project for establishment of Muga Basic Seed (P3) production unit at Kobulong by Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. A press release stated that the Central Silk Board is expected to complete the infrastructure development by March-April 2017 and the unit will be fully operational by 2018. The Muga culture farmers in the State are expected to get sufficient supply of Muga Dfls and all necessary technical support through the production unit.
