Dimapur, December 11 (MExN): The Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) has once again appealed to the Government of Nagaland to revoke the November 24, 2016 Cabinet resolution in the coming Nagaland Legislative Assembly winter session which is scheduled to be held from December 14. The resolution pertains to holding of elections to Urban Local Bodies(ULBs). A press release from JCC Media Cell said that the apex tribe Hohos on October 30, 2017 also unanimously resolved and urged upon the government of Nagaland to revoke the Cabinet resolution “as severe damage has been caused to the state in the altar of the infamous Cabinet Resolution.”
