Dimapur, January 6 (MExN): While reiterating its earlier stand that ‘solution should precede election’, the Rengma Hoho (RH) today appealed all the Naga Civil societies to “solemnly and unitedly voice out for an inclusive solution to the protracted Naga political issue without any further delay.”
When all legislators cutting across party affiliations have paved the way for Naga solution by adopting a resolution in the Assembly and when “NPGs have buried their differences and have come to the negotiating table,” the Hoho stated that is “imperative for all the Tribal Hohos and Naga Civil Societies including the religious organizations to come out openly demanding in unison for ‘solution before election.’
This is in the greater interest of the Naga people’s cause and proactively nurturing the fragile unity, RH maintained in a press note issued by its President Kenyuseng Tep.
“We Nagas should no longer walk in the shadows of uncertainty for the time has come for the Nagas to embrace the path of peace and progress through a reinvigorated dedication towards achieving our united Naga goal,” it added.
