Road safety awareness programme in Wokha

Wokha, September 25 (DIPR): Wokha District Transport office will be observing Road Safety Awareness Programme on September 27 at Hammock Resort, Wokha at 11:00 am. The programme is an initiative of Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MORTH) in association with State Road Transport Undertaking (ASRTU), organized by the Motor Vehicles Department, Government of Nagaland. During the programme, Transport Commissioner, Elias T Lotha will deliver the keynote address, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Wokha, T Chumren Lotha will dwell on the topic road accident impact and preventions, Edward Ngullie will speak on citizen’s perspective on road safety, while District Transport Officer, Wokha will highlight on Road Safety Initiatives.
