Mokokchung, October 1 (MExN): Rotary Club Mokokchung held a Club Community Program on Literacy on September 30 at Rotary House with Dr Imlirenla, principal, Town Higher Sec. School as the guest speaker.
During the programme, the club gave awards to 4 outstanding teachers. Temsuaienla of GPS Senkalemba School Arkong Ward, Mokokchung and Sashiwapang of GPS/GMS Sungkomen were the recipients of the Nation Builder Award, while Wabangchila of Jubilee Memorial School and Aotsungba of Mangyanokcha Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Mokokchung were awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award. Green Rotarian, Chubayangla Ozukum was also formally inducted to Rotary.
