Dimapur, October 11 (MExN): The Rising People’s Party (RRP) today stated that it will monitor implementation of 32 Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) under the Tribal Affairs Department, Nagaland.

“The Tribal Affairs Department, Nagaland, is claiming that for many of the schemes work orders are yet to be issued, which means that works are yet to start,” the party maintained in a press release.

“Be as it may be the truth of the claim has to be verified and the RPP will closely monitor the implementation of the schemes,” it added.

According the RRP’s release, out of the 32 schemes in total, 22 are in Dimapur, Kohima, and Mokokchung.

“Whereas Kiphire, Noklak, and Peren recorded nil schemes, Zunheboto, Phek and Wokha had only one each. Such lopsided policy making is not only bad governance but tasteless,” it asserted.

As part of its monitoring activities, the RPP will soon make public knowledge the 2018-19 scheme as well, it said, further inviting “general public/whistleblowers” to contact the parties for any queries.

The party appeals to all the concerned citizens/whistleblowers to be guarded and report anomalies in implementation of the schemes in the days to come, it added.

The Morung Express could not independently verify the claim.
