A recent Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima approved its Annual Action Plan of 2022-23.
Kohima, January 23 (MExN): A Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kohima was held at KVK Conference Hall on January 20 during which the Annual Action Plan of 2022-23 was approved.
According to a press release from the Sr Scientist & Head of KVK Kohima Dr Ruokuovilie Mezhatsu who also chaired the programme, the welcome address was given by Khekali , ACTO (Horticulture), while Dr Paihem ACTO(Animal Science) highlighted the concept of Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting.
Annual progress report was presented by Dr Ruokuovilie Mezhatsu and Zhiete ACTO (Soil Conservation) presented the annual Action Plan 2022-23 which was approved by the house after thorough deliberation.
The meeting was also attended by progressive farmers and officials of the agriculture and allied departments of the district. Altogether, 18 eighteen members attended the SAC meet. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Puchono, SMS (Agronomy), the release stated.
