Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): As a sign of gratitude to all who associate and collaborate with the Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE), a concert on ‘Dance of Fortune’ (a four act drama) was staged on August 12 and 13 at Fr. Paul Bernick Memorial Auditorium by the residential staff and students of SCHE.
The drama was scripted by Fr. Tom Karthik sdb, Rector of SCHE.
A press release informed that the play revealed the fact that “misplaced or unreasonable love can make one blind to the faults of those who need to be guided and corrected.” The show was intended to drive home the importance of combined responsibility of the parents and the school authority in educating a child, it added.
The programme also featured multimedia presentation, dances, songs, and instrumental. The event was co-ordinated by Fr. Felix Irudayaraj sdb, Vice-Principal and counsellor of SCHE.
The first day was attended by villagers, students, and hostellers from Salesian College youth centres, while the crowd on the second day consisted of neighbouring institutions, benefactors and well-wishers. About 900 people participated in the two-day entertainment extravaganza.
