Samagra Shiksha Nagaland team visits Tuensang

Kohima, November 28 (MExN): Samagra Shiksha Nagaland State Mission Director Kevileno Angami along with other officials visited Tuensang district from November 26 to 28 to monitor and supervise various activities under Samagra Shiksha Nagaland.
During the visit, the State Mission Director inaugurated Residential Hostel at Sangsangnyu and had an interaction with village elders.
She also visited Sochum Centres at Hakchang and Chingmei where she had an interaction with students, village elders and a briefing by the ECS staff on implementation of mobile teaching unit in Sochum Centres.
Mobile Teaching Unit is a new innovative initiated by ECS to improve student’s performance especially in mathematics.
State Mission director also visited KGBV, girls hostel and residential hostel at Noklak.
The purpose of KGBV and Residential Hostels under Samagra Shiksha Nagaland is to provide quality education to students in rural areas.
