Changtongya, May 1 (MExN): A Sanitary Pad Production Unit was formally inaugurated in Changtongya village by Advisor, Industries & Commerce, Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Imnatiba on May 1.
Advisor Imnatiba expressed gratitude to NABARD and NSRLM BMMU Changtongya Block for the initiative. He called upon the supporting agencies to continue to provide quality support to ensure success of the project and to periodically appraise the Administration on the progress of the project. He concluded by assuring that he will give his best earnest effort towards the successful development of the project.
The programme was attended by Changtongya Village Council members, NABARD Official from Mokokchung, NSRLM Mokokchung District and Block staff and SHG members under NSRLM Changtongya Block.
In a press release Moanungsang, Block Program Manager NSRLM, Changtongya Block informed that the Sanitary Pad Production Unit was provided by NABARD to Warotzubu SHG (under NSRLM Changtongya Block) through its Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programme (LEDP) and initiated through NABFOUNDATION – ‘MY PAD MY RIGHT’ project.
