Participants during the seminar on career prospects in SBI and financial literacy held at Sao Chang College, Tuensang on March 17.
Tuensang, March 17 (MExN): Career Guidance and Planning Committee of Sao Chang College, Tuensang in collaboration with SBI Tuensang Branch organized a seminar on career prospects in SBI and financial literacy at the college premises on March 17.
A press release received here stated that resource persons were Ato Tzudir, Junior Associate, Aniket Midha Assistant Manager and Lohuo Besü, Chief Manager, SBI Tuensang Branch. Ato Tzudir and Aniket Midha spoke on the career prospects in SBI and explained to the students on how to prepare for different clerical and P.O exams.
Lohuo Besü shared about the different type of bank accounts and functions of the bank and deliberated on the prospects of the various schemes and insurances available in SBI such as, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (a life insurance policy with Rs 2 lakh at just Rs 330 per annum), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, (accident assurance worth Rs 2 lakh at just Rs 12 per annum).
Earlier the programme was chaired by Dr Shokip Tumtin, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Longtichang Tzudir, Principal-in-Charge delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr LJ Neken, Associate Professor, Department of History.
