Sazolie College History dept visits Kezhakeno village

Phek, July 29 (MExN): The Department of History, Sazolie College, comprising of 44 students and 4 teachers, undertook a departmental tour to Khezhakeno village in Phek district on July 21.  

In the village Panchayat hall, Kapanyi Koza, an elderly man from the village, enlightened the students and teachers about the rich cultural history of the village. He interacted with the group and answered several queries posed by them, informed a press release from HoD of the department, Robin Temsu.  

They were then taken for a tour around the village by three local guides. The team visited some significant historical places such as Tso Tawo (Spirit stone), Zhi Nhaka (Nose of the lake), Tsopoupe Chitude Kebe (Mythical growing stone), and Mowe Ke (House of ancestor).  

The tour ended with a visit to the beautiful Lowho Lake at Chida, which is about three kilometres from Khezhakeno village.
