The 6th Triennal Conference of Youth Department, Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK) Aizuto was held at Yesholutomi Baptist Church from December 8-10, 2017 under the theme, “Towards a Greater Height.”
Parliamentary Secretary for Justice & Law, Er. Picto Shohe who exhorted the gathering on Sunday morning spoke about social menace in Naga society and strongly underscored the need for replacing such elements with good deeds and positivity.
“Every bad element can be overcome and replaced by good things in this world,” he said and urged upon the people to always let God to be at the forefront.
Er. Picto also urged upon the youth to be torchbearers of the society stating that they would be leading the society in the future. “In any society, youth are the driving force and hopefully looked upon for bringing positive changes in the society, it is time for young people to pay back to the society,” he said.
The conference was attended by scores of youth departments from different villages under SBAK Aizuto, Church leaders and social leaders.
