SBI Longleng organise workshop on CMMFI

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15 (MExN): The State Bank of India (SBI), Longleng Branch, organized a workshop on the Chief Minister Micro-Finance Initiatives (CMMFI) to raise awareness among stakeholders on October 12 at the VDB Hall in Longleng.

The workshop began with an in-depth analysis of various projects and discussed the additional documentation requirements from the bank for the smooth processing of loan proposals. To facilitate the process, the bank provided a checklist for each unit's proposals to the participating departments.

Representatives from the District Industries and Commerce (DIC), Fisheries, and Veterinary and Animal Husbandry departments attended the workshop, where they received valuable insights into the projects allocated under their respective departments. 

The session featured an extensive analysis of these projects and how the funds allocated would be utilized for the benefit of the local communities.

The V&AH department also presented a concise analysis of the projects under its purview. During the workshop, attendees had the opportunity to raise queries and concerns, all of which were thoroughly addressed by the bank officials.

Altogether 80 applicants participated in the workshop. The projects and unit activities discussed during the event included piggery, fishery, dairy, goatery, poultry, homestay, and commercial vehicle ventures.
