Chümoukedima, September 1 (MExN): A Science Exhibition was held on August 31 at Mount Mary Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima.
Special invitee of the programme Ngulkholal Khongsai, Scientist – A, BNHS India, in his speech encouraged the students to explore more to the field of science as there are many untouched field, said a press release from MMHSS.
Other dignitaries present in the exhibition were Dr M Chuba Ao, Chairman; C Teeya, MD; C Nungshimongla, Principal MMHSS; Gavin, Headmaster, Gabriel High School Chümoukedima; Dr TK Jana, Principal, MMC and teachers from different sections and parents.
The exhibition witnessed the participation of 42 teams of 82 students which included students from class 10, 11 Science and 12 Science and more than 400 visitors from seven neighboring school in Chümoukedima.
The exhibits were evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges drawn from the field of Science. The students showcased static and working models which was developed by the students themselves and mentored by class 12 Science students.
The objective of the exhibition was to ignite the essence of Science by involving the students where students showcased their talents on creativity and innovation. Several Positive feedbacks were received from the visitors from different school.
