LFHSS Kohima organizes Science Exhibition

Kohima, July 27 (MExN): Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Kohima observed its first day of Science Exhibition on July 27 under the theme ‘Science and Technology for Sustainable Development’.  

It was graced by Temjen Imna Along Longkumer, Minister of Higher Education and Technical Education, Nagaland as the Guest Speaker and Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, Advisor for Rural Development, Government of Nagaland as the Special Guest.  

Temjen Imna Along gave an insightful yet inspiring speech on how the young minds can transform the nation’s future for the better, according to a press release from the school. He was impressed with the confidence in which the students carried themselves, it added.  

The Minister further urged that everyone should make full use of modern technology. He also encouraged the school to expand its wings and take a step further by setting up a college particularly for women.  

Many dignitaries, guests as well as Mother Provincial, Sr. Elizabeth George from the Guwahati Province graced the event with their presence.  

The main objective of the Science Exhibition, the release said, was to relate the importance for a Sustainable Development and to provide a platform for the young inventors. Altogether, 26 schools attended the event.
