SDO (C), ADC Headquarters upgraded

Dimapur, December 29 (MExN): The State Government has affected upgrading of two SDO (C) Headquarters in Phek district to that of ADC Headquarters with immediate effect while also upgrading three EAC Headquarters one each in Mon, Zunheboto and Kohima district to that of SDO (C) Headquarters with immediate effect. Besides, nine new EAC Headquarters have been created across the State also with immediate effect. Three separate notifications were issued by Home Commissioner Sentiyanger Imchen to make these changes.

The two SDO (C) Headquarters upgraded to ADC Headquarters include Chazuba Sub-Division and Meluri Sub-Division in Phek District. The notification stated that the jurisdiction of the newly created upgraded Sub-divisions Chazuba and Meluri will come under the existing jurisdiction of the Sub-division of Phek district.

The EAC Headquarters upgraded to that of SDO (C) include Mangyakshu in Mon district, Atoizu in Zunheboto district and Sechu (Zubza) in Kohima district. The jurisdiction of the newly upgraded Sub-divisions shall comprise of the existing jurisdiction of the Sub-divisions of Mon, Zunheboto and Kohima.

The nine EAC Headquarters created include Phor under Phek district, Khonsa under Kiphire district, Namsang under Longleng district, Chingmei under Tuensang district, Ngoungchung under Tuensang district, Englan under Wokha district, Saptiga under Zunheboto district, Aquqhnaqua under Dimapur district and Longtho under Mokokchung district. The notification stated that the jurisdiction of the newly created EAC Headquarters will be notified separately.
