Kohima, November 1 (MExN): In view of the upcoming bye-election to the 14 Southern Angami Assembly-I Constituency scheduled on November 3, the Home Guards, Civil Defence & State Disaster Response Force Kohima on Sunday carried out sanitisation of polling stations.

The Coy. Commander HG,CD & SDRF, AK Prem Kumar informed that altogether five SDRF teams carried out the sanitisation programme covering all the twenty two designated polling stations located at Chotobosti, Phesama, Pfuchama, Mima, Mitelephe, Kigwema and Jakhama villages, a DIPR report informed. 

The sanitisation programme was carried out as per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India for safe election, it added.
