The Langzanger Union Kiphire Town organized a seminar for fathers on the theme ‘Fatherhood’ at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, Kiphire on July 14. Dr. Apise, secretary, United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimukhong (USBLA) was the resource person.
Stating fathers as the main foundation of the family, Dr Apise said the central theme of a family is to know God, which he said is the will of the almighty.
He further told the fathers to grow and have strong relationship with God, adding that prayer is the key for all generations.
Apise also encouraged them to attend church regularly so that children and families as a whole are blessed. Meanwhile, the participants were urged to be aware of the responsibilities of a father and bring up their children in God’s way of life. The chairman of Langzanger Union Kiphire Town, Lithsase on behalf of the union expressed appreciation to the resource person for making time for the union. Special song and interaction followed the session.
