Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): The NNC today said that “all unspeakable things took place amongst the national workers and fragmented” because of the Shillong Accord of 1975. A note from the NNC stated in reference to one “Thepfiilhouvi Solo of Shillong Accordists supporter and defender.”
“The NNC must say that sans fuming Thepfiilhouvi Solo of Shillong Accordists supporter and defender must know fully that because of Shillong Accord of 1975 all unspeakable things took place amongst the national workers and fragmented,” a note from V Kiso of the NNC’s publicity wing stated.
Only now after 35 years, the note said, the various “political” groups are coming together. “… Of course, not all but through the efforts of civil societies and the international organizations. But this individual writer cannot undermine or look down upon gen. (rtd) I. Panger Walling the working president of NNC who stood and work for the cause (freedom) of the Nagas for the last more than 50 years and the leader of the parent body (NNC) of the Nagas,” the note said.
The NNC’s note denounced the said Thepfiilhouvi Solo for his “article of look down upon especially the office of the Naga National Council.” The NNC has asked him to ‘respect the office of the leadership.’
