Dimapur, December 30 (MExN): Under the theme "Luceat Lux Vestra" (shine your light), the 55th Foundation Day of the Tesophenyu Group Students' Union was held on December 30 at Tesophenyu Community Hall.
Dr Tinenlo James SMO CHC Tseminyu, who was the resource person at the event, opined that students have massive potential within them which can be nurtured and utilised for the betterment of society. He further emphasized that students must make judicious utilization of time. “Time is a calibration of change," the SMO said. He also suggested ways of ending laziness with "five seconds window period" method in order to remain awake and active.
To implement the mantra, James stated that students should put it into practice. "What gift would one like to offer oneself?" he further posed noting that students must make a sacrifice and “burn-out oneself to achieve success" since “success is 99 percent perspiration and 1 percent inspiration.”
Mistakes are part of life which everyone must “cross over and move on," he concluded.
