Dimapur, January 8 (MExN): A Training Camp followed by the 2nd JYO Shooting Championships organized by the Japukong Youth Organization is scheduled to be held at Japu Village from January 9 to 11. Following this, the 2nd Aonokpu Rifle & Pistol Shooting Championship organized by the Aonokpu Rifle & Pistola Shooting Club will be held at Aonokpu Village from January 12 to 14. According to a press release, the Nagaland Rifle Association in collaboration with the Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Academy, Dimapur is conducting the training camp in view of the 5th North East Zone Shooting Championship to be held in Shillong, Meghalaya in July, 2017. The tournaments will be held as per rules & regulations under National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) Match Book 2016, in Small Bore Rifle & Pistol. The following officials and shooters have been selected to conduct the Training Camp and Competitions: 1. Merang Jamir - Official 2. Sentiyanger - Official 3. Alem Langur - Shooter 4. Yangerlemba - Shooter 5. Chubawati Jamir - Shooter The above names are also permitted to carry the under mentioned weapons under Licence Nos. 0234/NL/DMR/NDAL/2015 valid up to 12-09-2018; 1120/NL/DMR/2012 valid up to 31-12-2018; and 1121/NL/DMR/2012 valid up to 31-12 2018 along with ammunitions from Dimapur to Mokokchung and back via Assam. Air Rifle -732597 The over all in-charge of the above mentioned arms and ammunitions will be Merang Jamir, President, Nagaland Rifle Association. The permit is valid from January 7 to 30.
