Pfutsero, September 4 (MExN): Two-day training on sign language for regular and pre-service teachers concluded on August 31 at DIET Pfutsero under Phek District.
Tainla Ao, District IE coordinator, DMA SSA, Dimapur was the resource person, Atula Wai, Principal, DIET, Pfutsero informed in a press release.
She highlighted the importance of such training and further suggested to have a follow up program to equip teachers in order to benefit hearing impaired children in schools.
Earlier, during the inaugural program, Principal DIET Pfutsero Atula Wai pointed that the disability area should be taken up as a mission and every citizens should try to reach out to such persons and respect their rights.
