Peren, August 14 (MExN): KVK Peren with ICAR, Medziphema organized three-day skill development training programme on ‘Crop diversification for food security and rural employment’ at St. Xavier College, Jalukie for a group of selected students.
A press release issued by Naomi Magh, Assistant Professor, department of Sociology, St. Xavier College stated that the training was headed by Dr. Patu K. Zeliang included Imliakum Pongener, James Kikon, Dr. Ebebeni, Gogoi and Amos Newme.
The students were enriched and empowered by the knowledge imparted and the skills acquired. In the valedictory session the participants recollected the various aspects of training imparted and further acknowledged the great time they had. They look forward to the follow-up programs to enhance further growth in the practical arena.
Rev. Dr. Francis Cheerangal, Principal, St. Xavier College appreciated the team for their availability and readiness to organize the training as great as their scholarly expertise in their subject matter. The trainers too expressed satisfaction and fulfilment in the participation and response of the students throughout the programme.
