Zunheboto, January 27 (MExN): The 50th biennial general conference of the All Sumi Students' Union (SKK) under the theme ‘Thukuwulo Kileghi Chewuni’ (Fostering Equitable Progress) was inaugurated at Shena old village, Saptiqa area Zunheboto on January 27. The event will culminate on January 30.
MLA Picto Shohe graces the session as introductory guest, stated a press release received here. The programme was chaired by Hekuto Anche. It began with dedication by Rev Tokishe Awomi,Pastor Shena old Baptist Church, welcome address by Vuxuto Achumi, Gb Shena Old village, introduction by Ayeto Zhimomi Vice President. SKK 50th Biennial General Conference theme was highlighted by Zhevihe Sumi, Convenor Central Organizing Committee, greetings by Ashanthung Humtsoe, President Lotha Students Union and general secretary report presented by Bokalu Zhimo.
Other dignitaries of the conference include Kaito G Aye Minister Agriculture & Cooperation, Pukhayi Sumi MLA advisor Food and Civic Supplies, Tongpang Ozukum Minister, Mechanical & Housing and Vikheho Swu MLA. The speakers of the conference are Dr Hotokhu Chishi, Rtd Director Health & Family Welfare, Rev Dr Hokheto Chophi Pastor Thilixu Baptist Church and Er Kabuki Sema.
