Day 2 of 29th NPBCA Annual General Council
Dimapur, January 14 (MExN): The second day of the 29th Annual General Council of the Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) was held on January 13 at PBC 9th NAP (IR) Bn. Saijang under Peren district.
Dwelling on the topic “Knitted together in Christ: Family”, speaker on the day, Alongla P. Aier, Professor, Oriental Theological Seminary, Bade, Dimapur, said that family has a special place in the heart of God, a press release received here on Sunday informed.
“When family is strong nation is strong but when family is weak nation become weak; therefore society is dependent on family and thus family plays an important role in what the sociologist call, socialization process,” the release ascribed her as saying.
Prof. Aier encouraged the Police families to keep the marriage bed sacred by maintaining faithfulness between husband and wife.
“How will God not bless your efforts, your desire, when you walk in the will of God?” she questioned while also challenging the parents in the congregation to raise children by teaching them to love God.
Reminding that children are our heritage, Prof. Aier highlighted the roles of parents exhorting that father should discipline the children while mothers must use their strong influence to build a godly family.
The Morning Devotion on the Second Day was led by V. Rakho, Vice President NPBCA, while Pastor, 2nd NAP Alichen, Sashi was the Devotion speaker.
A workshop on the topic “Paradigm Shift in Doing Ministry” was also conducted. The topic covered four areas with the following as resource persons: Mission – Dr. H. Ndang, Pastor PBC Peren; Youth – Rev. Ahoshe Yeptho, Pastor PBC Zunheboto; Women – Neibu Sanchu, Pastor PBC 15th NAP (IR) Mahila; Children – Renphamo K. Odyuo, Pastor PBC 11th NAP (IR).
The Evening Worship Service was led by Neibu Sanchu, Pastor PBC 15TH NAP (IR) Asst. R/Secretary during which a spotlight of the Church Activities was presented by 2nd NAP Alichen.
