Peren, December 13 (DIPR): The Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (Nagaland and Manipur Region) based in Kohima organized a special outreach programme on the flagship schemes/programmes of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare with special focus on Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and Soil Health Card at CSA Hall, Ahthibung in Peren district on December 12.
SDO (C) Jalukie T Lankonsen Tsanglao, who was the chief guest, emphasized on the need to create more awareness on all central government welfare schemes so that the real beneficiaries can reap their benefits.
Joint Director for Agriculture, Letkholal Hangsing, Chief Plant Manager, LPG Bottling Plant Indian Oil Corporation, Dimapur, Lhungdim, and Manager NABARD Evan T Mungsang were the resource persons. The programme was chaired by Headmaster of Government Middle School Ahthibung Tonga Hangsing, keynote address was delivered by Regional Director DFP Mangjanggam IIS, while invocation was said by Rev. Lanthom Gangte.
