Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): Having concern for the people of drought stricken states in the country, citizens of Dimapur drawn from different religious backgrounds initiated a chain of prayer starting on Sunday, May 1.
The special prayer programme commenced in the residence of Hocto Kinnimi (retired IFS), wherein S. Vitoshe Swu, Senior Pastor, Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church led the prayer by reading Bible scriptures , a press release received here informed.
Representatives of different religions in Dimapur were present at the programme. Farooq Khan, National Secretary of BJP, who is also in-charge of BJP Nagaland State and BJP Minority Morcha also participated in the programme.
