DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 6 (MExN): A special registration drive for labourers under the Longkhim-Chare Sub-division in Tuensang was conducted by the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) on September 4 at the Town Hall in Longkhim.
The event was graced by Sethrongkyu Sangtam, Advisor for IT, Communication, Economics, Statistics, and Evolution, as the special guest.
During his address, Sangtam highlighted the numerous projects, schemes, and policies being provided by both the state and central governments for the welfare of the public. He expressed concern that many people were not taking full advantage of these opportunities and reassured the gathering that government departments are always ready to assist. He urged attendees to seize these opportunities for their benefit.
Nungsangtoshi, the District Regional Officer of the NBOCW-MB Mokokchung, provided an overview of the Labour Card and its benefits, emphasizing its importance for workers. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Labour Inspector Yongricham R. from the ALC office in Tuensang, and was chaired by Sepicham Sangtam, LDA of the ADC Office.
