Dimapur | July 29 : The “Reload” youth rally held at Town Baptist Church on Friday evening was a programme where the youth got spiritual “reload” and rejuvenated their faith in God. Hundreds of youth from various churches and denominations turned up to attend the rally where the main speaker was Rev Dr Jacob Cherian from the Southern Asia Bible College Bangalore.
The speaker emphasised on the importance of knowing the Bible and God simultaneously. He said there were some people so familiar with the Bible yet they did not understand God. Rev Dr Cherian also referred to Luke 15 in the Bible while delivering sermon. He cited few parables including the Prodigal Son putting across the message that God wanted the lost souls to return to Him and that He would rejoice in their return.
Prior to the programme, Visato Yhoshu from Bangalore and the Cross Connection led the praise and worship team. DABA youth choir, UDX (formerly Dimentia), Luther, Jethro and friends presented songs of different genres. The youth rally was organised by the Baptist Youth Fellowship Dimapur and Assembly of God Youth Joint Fellowship Dimapur.
