Kohima, April 2 (MExN): Nagaland SSA/SMA will be organizing a state level exposure trip for Class VIII toppers for the academic year 2010 students of government schools with 55 students from April 12-18 with the theme “Towards excellence.”
The purpose of the exposure trip is to enable students to broaden their perspective and also to offer them a glimpse of the many opportunities available. It also aims to promote the students strive to excel as it rewards the toppers through an exposure trip. As such, five toppers from every district are selected on merit basis.
The exposure trip is scheduled to visit Kaziranga National Park and other educational institutions as part of learning cum exposure.
The main objective of taking the students to Kaziranga is to inculcate in them the sense of preservation and conservation of the natural environment around them.
They shall also be taken to various learning institutes to enhance in them the learning ability and widen students’ mental horizon. Literary and cultural competitions shall also be a part of exposure programme.
Concerned DMAs have been requested to depute one guide each who is capable to take care of children in various respective capacities.
