Jalukie, August 12 (MExN): The Department of Sociology, St Xavier College undertook a study tour to Benreu, the tourist village under Peren district. The team of 18 students were led under the supervision of Assistant Professors, Seiboy and Naomi Magh.
Observation and interaction were built around a sociological perspective and quest. The team were enlightened on village developmental programmes, rural schemes, network of social works, demography, enhancement and progress of the village, historical build-up, educational system, traditional practices etc.
