The stage is all set for formal kick start of the 2nd Kohima Football League (KFL) 2018 on July 17 at Kohima Local Ground under the aegis of Kohima Town Club (KTC).
Ziekiezou SC will face United 16 FC in the inaugural match. Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, advisor, Rural Development, Government of Nagaland will grace the inaugural function on July 17 at 1:00 PM.
KTC president Dr. Viketoulie Pienyii will deliver presidential address while KFL convenor Viketoulie Solo will highlight the background of the tournament.
Altogether, 7 teams will vie for KFL 2018. Ziekezou SC, New Market FC, Twenty XI FC, Vanguard FC, Sechii Zubza FC, United 16 FC and Khriekesa FC.
The champion will win a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh while runner-up will pocket Rs. 80,000.
The season ticket for spectator is fixed at Rs.1000 and the gallery ticket at Rs.50. It will go on till August 24.
