Stage set for 5th Dimapur Music Festival today

The stage is set for the fifth edition of the Dimapur Music Festival (DMF) which has been scheduled to take place this time at Noune Resort, Chümoukedima on the afternoon of September 16.

This was announced by the team members of Live Now events (organisers of DMF) , Menuolhoulie Kire, Creative Head and Burakum Ao, Secretary at a press conference held at Shunammite Inn, Dimapur on September 15. 

According to them, this year’s venue for the festival has been chosen taking into consideration the convenience for all the residents of the three districts of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland. “Music in Nagaland has been growing in leaps and bounds. The first edition of DMF was held in 2017 andwith this 5th Edition, we hope to achieve great success through the support of the people,” Kire said. 

Apart from the main attraction which will be the lineup of musicians, the festival will also feature food stalls, games and special give away prizes as well. The gates for the music festival will open at 2:00 PM with the entertainment section set to begin from 6:00 PM onwards. 

“The festival promises not just entertainment, but a holistic celebration of life, art, and community,” they announced.

•    Wishes and Dreams
•    DJ Ina
•    Tafma "Battle of Bands" winner “Euphonic”

The event will be hosted by Eva Jamir. 

For online booking of tickets, the organisers have mentioned that attendees can avail them at the website, www.kakihelpsbrands. Ticket prizes have been set at Rs 400 (regular) per head with another set of VIP tickets at Rs 2000 for two individuals.  

Meanwhile physical purchase of tickets can be bought at several locations in and around Dimapur such as in Noune Resort itself, KK Café, City Tower,The Garden, Daruma Dimapur, Playdate- Playzone & café and the Pantry.
