Kohima, February 3: The Government of Nagaland has constituted a State Level Media Coordination Committee with the following objectives: To promote better interface, coordination and cooperation between the government and media as well as among the media fraternity in the interest of public service; to discuss and share issues of public interest concerning the state of Nagaland which are required to be highlighted through media; to share information, concerns and problems faced by the Fourth Estates.
The State Level Media Coordination Committee shall comprise of the following members: Commissioner & Secretary/Secretary, IPR – Chairman; Station Director, AIR Kohima; Station Director, DDK Kohima; Field Publicity Director; two office bearers of Nagaland Press Association; representative of Press Clubs; PROs of Police/Home Department; PROs of Defence Units; Media & Communication Adviser to CM; and Director IPR – Member Secretary.
