Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): The NCP Nagaland State Executive committee meeting was held on March 22, 2013 at its Dimapur office. A press note issued by Miathou Krose, General Secretary (admin), NCP Nagaland stated that the meeting was chaired by Neiba Ndang, President, NCP Nagaland and God's blessing was invoked by Pastor K. KISO, BRC, Kuda. The party's performance in the recently concluded assembly general election was reviewed and the present status of the party was discussed. NCP Nagaland congratulated and felicitated all the four MLAs viz. Dr. T.M. Lotha, Imtilemba, L. Khumo and Mhonlumo.
The note mentioned that leader of the Nationalist Congress Legislature Party Dr. T.M. Lotha, and MLA Imtilemba exhorted the gathering. They assured party workers that it would be their endeavor to look after the interest of the party workers in particular and the common man in general. The meeting resolved to revamp the party's organisational set up in order to strengthen the party in Nagaland.
The note also stated that NCP Nagaland welcomes the new Governor of Nagaland Dr. Ashwani Kumar and congratulated Dr. S.C. Jamir on his appointment as Governor of Odisha. The vote of thanks was proposed by Er. T.L. Semdok, Vice-president NCP Nagaland.
