
DIMAPUR, MAR 1 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur K.Nzimongo Ngullie with reference to Government notification No.AR-8/8/76 Dated 19th January 1979 has issued strict guidelines for issuance of Non-Naga Indigenous Certificates. The following points are to be strictly followed while issuing the certificates:
1. Photo copy of the certificate issued in favour of the person(s) whose name was enrolled in Electoral Roll 1963/64 as on December 1, 1963.
2. Certificate from concerned GB certifying that the applicant parents/guardians were a permanent resident of the said colony prior to 1963.
3. School certificates in case of students.
4. Two Administrative Officers will verify on the body of the certificate as usual.
5. Electoral roll of 1963/64will be verified and attested by AEO.
6. PA to DC (Conf. branch) will cross check all the applicants before put up for signature.
7. House taxes paid as on 1st December 1963.
8. Land Patta as on 1st December 1963.
The DC has further informed that a candidate who fails to fulfill the above criteria need not apply.
