Our Correspondent Kohima | March 3 Strong winds lash the state capital Kohima and its adjoining areas today, snapping several power lines; and damaging billboards and banners. The winds lashed as fire service personnel managed to control two wild fires; one at Kisama, which was caused due to the burning of a transformer; and another at Forest Colony. The weather also forced the venue for the final volleyball matches of the ongoing ASA golden jubilee tournament to shift to the Indira Gandhi Stadium from Kohima Local Ground.
