Dimapur, October 9 (MExN): A team comprising of 20 students including 13 boys and seven girls along with two teachers interacted with the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind on October 9 at his official resident Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The team, from various schools in Jalukie district, was part of National Integration tour organized by 36 Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), a press note informed.
During the interaction, the President interacted with the students and encouraged them to contribute towards the development and well being of the state, it said.
After the interaction a group photographs was organized with the President followed by tea, it added.
