Students share experience of volunteering for PwDs on polling day in Tsg

St John Higher Secondary School, Tuensang students, faculty with guest and others during the release of Metamorphosis’ magazine on November 26. 


 

Tuensang, November 26 (MExN): Advisor to Fisheries, Evaluation, Economic and Statistics Government of Nagaland, L Khumo released the ‘Metamorphosis’ magazine at St John Higher Secondary School (SJHSS), Tuensang on November 26. 


Khumo released the Magazine in the presence of DC, DIG Range, SP, Administrative officers, District Officers Teachers and students of SJHSS Tuensang.


The ‘Metamorphosis’ magazine is a compilation of experience of SJHSS Tuensang students of on the concluded General Election to Lok Sabha. The students served as volunteers for the Persons with Disabilities during the polling day.


Speaking on the occasion, Khumo applauded the school principal and faculties for giving such experiences the students. To the students he said, “This is a moment of truth and should make use of the time judiciously so that you can have a bright future.”


Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Mohammed Ali Shihab applauded SJHSS Tuensang students, district administrative officers, police and many philanthropists with whose collaborative effort this magazine has been materialised. The activity was conducted based on the ECI motto ‘No voters to be left behind.’


DIG range appreciated the students on change of attitude toward the service to the nation making the word ‘Metamorphosis’ an apt in action. Kushe, representing the students shared experience.


Dr. Rev Sivi George, principal SJHSS delivered the opening remark while Renben Mozhui AEO Tuensang gave the vote of thanks.
