Sumi Hoho thanks Khiamniungans

DIMAPUR, OCT 15 (MExN): The Sumi Hoho has extended its heartiest gratitude to the Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) in particular and the Khiamniungan public in general for extending its warmest hospitality to the delegates of the Sumi Hoho for the just concluded ‘Inter Tribal Meet cum Cultural Exchange Programme held on October 7 at Noklak town between the two fraternal tribes. In a release issued through Aheto V Yepthomi, General Secretary of the Sumi Hoho, the Hoho thanked the people of Noklak town for extending warm reception, love and care during the Sumi stay adding that the hospitality would be cherished in the days to come.

The Sumi Hoho also thanked the frontal organizations like the Western Sumi Hoho, Sumi Totimi Hoho, Sumi Kukami Hoho, Western Sumi Kukami Hoho, Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, Sumi Kukami Hoho Zunheboto Town, Reverend Dr Vikheshe Chishi, Principal, Withee Bible Institute and Reverend Phughoto Aye for making themselves available to attend the meet in spite of other important engagements. It also thanked the cultural troupe from Lukihe/Shevishe Village and the Sumi Totimi, South Point, Zunheboto for representing the entire Sumi Community in the cultural exchange programme. Adding that the Sumi Hoho would look forward to more of their active presence in future too, the apex Sumi organization also thanked Vishito Lizu and his family as well as the well-wishers for generously contributing towards the success of the Inter-Tribal meet programme and stated that the Hoho would always cherish their active participation.
